CTET Application Form 2017 - The online application form of CTET 2017 February exam will be available soon. CTET 2017 application form can be filled in online mode only within the prescribed dates. Candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria and registration instruction carefully before filling the CTET application form 2017. The application form of CTET 2017 can be filled in four steps. At stage first, candidates have to obtain the registration number by filling in the on-line application. Next stage is to upload images of photograph and signature in JPEG format in prescribed format. In stage 3 candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee either through debit/credit card/net banking or bank challan. At stage 4, candidates have to take the printout of CTET 2017 confirmation pages as it will have applicant details like registration number, detail of submitted data, fee details, photograph and signature. While filling up CTET application form 2017 it mandatory for candidates to provide their roll number of last three CTET examinations (if appeared). Candidates are not required to send hard copy of CTET 2017 application form. However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the CTET application form i.e. confirmation page and copy challan for future reference.

Step 1- Fill in the CTET 2017 Application Form
Filling up personal and date of birth (DOB): In CTET Application form 2017, candidate should fill their name, mother’s name and father’s name, as recorded in the class x secondary board certificate, in capital letters. The date of birth must be as recorded in the Class X Secondary Board Certificate.
Choice of Examination Centres: Candidate may select three different options for Examination Centres cities in order of preference from where they wish to appear for the test. The choice 1st, 2nd and 3rd examination centre city should not be same
Languages chosen in CTET: Candidates have to select two languages in which they want to appear for CTET exam.
Languages chosen in CTET Application Form 2017
Language I: Shall focus on the proficiencies related to the medium of instructions. Candidate is required to select any one from given languages
Language II: Shall focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehensive abilities. Candidate is required to select any one from given language
Language II should be different from Language I
Candidates must attempt questions in languages opted by him as mentioned in the Admit Card. In case the questions are attempted in any other languages, the candidature of such candidates shall be cancelled
Medium of Question Paper: Select Question Paper medium for subjects other than languages from drop down menu box. Candidate can select either English or Hindi. No request for change of medium will be entertained under any circumstances once it is filled in CTET 2017 application form.
Unique Aadhar No (Optional): Candidates have to mention their unique Aadhar Number (UID) if available.
Selection of Gender and Category: Select Gender and category.
Status of Qualifying Exam: Select the status from drop down menu box. If qualified, select ‘Passed’ else select ‘Appearing’ in Final Exam.
Employment Status: Mention employment status by selecting any of the option available in drop down menu box.
Applying for CTET Elementary or Primary: Select Paper I if applying for becoming teacher for classes I to V. Select Paper II if applying for becoming teacher for classes VI to VIII. Select Both (Paper I & Paper II) for becoming teacher for the both i.e. classes I to V and VI to VIII.
Selection of Subjects: Subject offered for Paper-II i.e. if applying for paper II (classes VI to VIII) Candidates applying for becoming teacher for classes VI to VIII should mention the choice of subject as given. The options of subject are 1) Mathematics & Science and 2) Social Science. If the candidate applies for Paper-II only or Both Papers in and does not mention the subject offered for Paper – II shall not be eligible and the application will be rejected & fee will be forfeited without any further communication.
CTET Roll number of previous year: Mention CTET roll number in case candidates have appeared in the last three CTET examination (If applied).
Selection of Qualifying Degree: Candidates have to choose the college from where they have obtained B.Ed Degree/Diploma in Education/ Elementary Education etc. In case the name of their college is not given they may choose the option ‘other’ and fill in the required particulars. The candidate have mention the percentage of marks obtained by him/her in the Degree/Diploma.
Corresponding address: Candidates have to write complete mailing address including pin code as the same is required for further communication. The CBSE will not be responsible for non-receipt of CTET 2017 mark statement /certificate etc. in case the postal address is not complete or legible.
E mail Id & Mobile Number: Candidates have to provide valid email id and mobile number as the updates/alerts related to CTET 2017 may be sent on candidates mobile number.
Security Pin: Candidates have to enter the security pin as given in green colour to complete CTET application form 2017.
Step 2- Upload Scanned Images - Photograph and Signature
Candidates have to upload image and signature as per the dimension and format given below.
The scanned images of latest photographs and signature should be in jpg format.
Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb
Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb
Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm(width) * 4.5 cm(Height) only
Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm(length) * 1.5 cm(Height) only

Correction Opportunity in submitted CTET application form 2017
CBSE will provide one time opportunity to correct the submitted details in CTET 2017 application form. The correction opportunity in submitted CTET application form 2017 will be available within a month from the last date for filling up application form. Candidates can correct following particulars i.e. name, father and mother name, date of birth, category, differently abled category, Paper opted (i.e. Paper I or Paper II), Subject for Paper – II, First choice of Centre, language I and/or II opted, Address of correspondence and the name of the Institution/College/University from where they obtained their B.Ed Degree/Diploma in Elementary Education etc.
