SSC CHSL cut off 2016 is the qualifying marks which must be secured by candidates as per their category to become eligible for next stage of selection procedure i.e. Tier II (Descriptive Paper). SSC CHSL 2016 cut off is the benchmark to pick the most deserving candidates for next round of recruitment process. As many as 53,201 candidates have qualified the Tier I exam as per the SSC CHSL Cutoff marks 2017. If a candidates scores equal marks to or more than cut off then they are termed as qualified for appearing in next round of selection procedure. SSC CGL cut off 2016 of Tier 1 exam was held from January 7 to February 8, 2017 for 64,09,965 registered candidates, whereas 30,57, 993 candidates appeared for the exam. How to Calculate SSC CHSL 2016 Cut off

 

The SSC CHSL cut off 2016 will be calculated based on the following procedure:

  • Number of questions correctly answered by candidate in each section is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying penalty for wrong answers

  • The corrected scores obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive the equated score

  • Equated Scores is a score obtained by candidates in a exam are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms

  • Marks of written test will be normalised while calculating SSC CHSL cut off score

SSC CHSL 2016 Cut off will be applied in two stages:

The SSC CHSL Cut off 2016 of Tier I has been released along with declaration of result on June 1, 2017. Candidates have to secure sectional as well as overall cut off score to qualify Tier I exam. Candidates have to secure cut off marks in each subject - General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Also, they have to score overall cut off score to pass the preliminary exam.

SSC CHSL 2016 cut off score of Tier II

 

The Tier II Paper of SSC CHSL 2016 is a descriptive paper of 100 marks to be conducted in Pen and Paper Mode. Candidates have to score minimum of 33% to qualify this paper. It is compulsory for candidates to qualify this paper.

Typing Test - Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute
