UPSC Civil Services 2016 Result - UPSC has released e-summon letter for Personality test only for those candidates who have qualified in written examination of UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2016. Earlier, Union Public Service Commission has announced UPSC civil services mains result 2016 on February 21. UPSC civil services result 2016 of mains has been declared online. UPSC Mains exam was held from December 3 to 9, 2016. The UPSC mains result 2016 mentions roll number of candidates who have qualified the mains examination by securing qualifying marks as per their category. The UPSC 2016 Mains qualified candidates will be called for personality test/ interview scheduled to be held from March 20, 2017. UPSC civil services mains result 2016 is calculated out of total marks 1750. Candidates have to score a minimum of 25 per cent in Indian language and English papers, after which their essay, general studies and optional subject papers will be evaluated. Based on the candidates’ rank and preference in UPSC Civil Services 2016 final result, candidates will be selected for various positions in All India Services including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services (Group A and Group B).
