  2. A new page will open up for instructions to download UPSC Civil Services admit card 2017 for prelims. Candidates need to download and get a print copy for it and click on ‘Yes’ button to0 proceed

  3. Candidates will be directed to ‘Admit Card Window’, where candidates can download admit card as mentioned below -

  • By Registration Number/ID – Candidates need to enter their UPSC CSE registered Id and Date of Birth and enter the captcha code to proceed downloading UPSC Civil Services Admit Card 2017

Candidates download UPSC CSE admit card 2017 for prelims examination may face technical issues, so they are advised to report UPSC admin on email id - [email protected] before June 2, 2017 and also candidates are advised to go through technical instructions mentioned below -

 

 

UPSC Civil Services Admit Card: Important Instructions related to admit card and exam centre

  • The admit card of UPSC CSE prelims 2017 can be obtained in online mode only, if candidates encounters any problem in downloading UPSC Civil Services admit card for preliminary examination 2017, then they are advised to contact UPSC officials

  • Candidates need to carry their admit card for preliminary examination of UPSC CSE 2017 at their allotted exam centre as per the scheduled date and session for the examination

  • Candidates need to carry photo identity proof such as Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Voter ID as well as two photographs along with an undertaking as per the format

  • Candidates need to carry their own BLACK BALL POINT PEN to fill options (Ovals) in the OMR sheet

  • Candidates are advised to reach their allotted exam centre of UPSC CSE 2017 by at least an hour before their allotted session timings

  • Candidates will be allowed to enter their examination hall at least 15-20 minutes before exam timings

  • Candidates who reach their allotted test centre late by more than 10 minutes of exam timings won’t be allowed to take test

  • In case, candidates appear for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary examination 2017 from any other centre than their allotted test centre, their answer sheets won’t be accepted and candidature will be cancelled

  • Candidates need not carry their mobile phones, calculators, electronic gadgets, study material or cheating devices and if any candidate is found to be in possession of these banned things the his/her candidature will be cancelled right away

  • Also, candidates must not carry any valuable/costly items to the exam centre as in case of any loss, the exam centre authority or UPSC won’t be responsible

UPSC Civil Services Admit Card 2017: Instructions on E-admit card for Scribes of Orthopedic and Blind candidates

  • Visually Impaired or Orthopedically challenged candidates who have applied for their own scribe need to bring separate e-admit card issued for the scribe

  • Physically Handicapped (Locomotor Disability with Cerebral Palsy suffering dominant writing)/ Visually Impaired candidates will be provided 20 minutes per hour extra time to attempt their examination of total two hours duration i.e. they will be provided two hours fourty minutes to complete their examination

  • Candidates who have availed their own scribe for the exam will not be allowed to change their Scribe at the last moment after the Scribe Admit Card is issued by the Commission

  • Scribes can not mark options without instructions from candidates, they will read out questions to the candidates and only fill ovals as asked by the candidates

  • Scribe are not allowed to gesture or tell correct answers to candidates in any such case, legal action can be taken on candidate as well as the Scribe

  • Neither the candidate nor the scribe will be given any remuneration by the UPSC
